Update -  Stat Manager 2.0 has been released and is available for download

Game Lineups are another new feature for Baseball Stat Manager 2.0. Creating your team's lineup before heading to the game saves valuable time and allows you to pre-select your substitutions for the game using the statistics and data from previous games. Below is a preview of how to fill out Game Lineups and save, print or email them. Version 2.0 of Stat Manager will be released in February, 2009 and will be a free upgrade to all current users of Baseball Stat Manager 1.x

Creating the Lineup

Creating a lineup for your team is simple. A new icon for Game Lineups has been added to the menu and toolbar of Stat Manager for easy access. Once the Game Lineup screen is opened, a particular game can be selected from the list of games you have entered. The Game Lineup screen allows you to create a batting order and fielding positions for your team for each inning of the game. After choosing the inning to work with, creating the lineup is as simple as dragging the player's name from the “Bench” area and dropping them into the correct batting order or fielding position. To substitute one player for another, drag the player's name from the bench over to the position they will be playing, and the substitution will be made for that inning.

Viewing and Printing the Lineup

Once a lineup card is entered, it can be viewed, exported or printed using Stat Manager's Reporting capabilities. A new Game Lineup report is available for viewing. Just pick the game, and view, export or print the report. Multiple copies can be printed to take to the game – one for the umpire, one for the opposing team and one for your dugout.
